Letter from the Rector

Dear Parents/Guardians of Vista Junior Academy

It is with regret that I have to announce that me Lizandra Wessels has decided to resign as the principal of Vista Junior Academy as she and her family decided to steer her career in a new direction at the end of September 2021.

We all know me Wessels as a very committed and faithful educationalist and since her appointment in January 2018 she was leading Vista Junior Academy in a very courageous and faithful manner. The school grew under her leadership to over 400 learners as of where it stands today.

Me Wessels will be dearly missed by EduLife Group management, colleagues, parents and learners but we do wish her well and we pray that herself and her family will be blessed in their new venture.

As part of EduLife Group’s commitment to our schools I would like to give our staff, learners and parents the assurance that your child/ren’s education and well-being will still be the highest priority for us. Therefore, Mr Engelbrecht (CEO) and myself (Group Rector) will be managing the school from 1 October 2021 until we have appointed a new principal who will then start early in 2022.

The groundworks of the next phase of Vista Junior Academy have already started and we are looking forward to have our first grade10 learners on board of our FET phase.

I would like to thank our Vista Junior Academy family for your continuous support and understanding and together we will move our precious school to the next level.

May God bless you all.

Willie Havenga
Group Rector
