Vacancy : High School Deputy Principal

Vista Academy is an independent school in Bloemfontein, Free State. This school is not an ordinary school and is thus looking for an experienced, extra-ordinary educator to join our team.

Subjects: English HL, Mathematics, Physical Science

Competencies / Skills / Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years teaching experience in a High School
  • Grade 12 teaching experience would be advantageous
  • Relevant Education Qualifications
  • Relevant Managerial Qualifications would be advantageous
  • Experience and knowledge of the CAPS Curriculum
  • The ability to develop new and progressive teaching ideas
  • Strong people skills – work efficiently with management, staff, parents, and young children
  • A significant level of computer literacy and other technological / robotics systems would be

    advantageous

  • Fluent in English, Afrikaans and Sesotho would be advantageous
  • SACE certificate
  • Sexual offender’s clearance certificate
  • IEB experience would be an advantage
  • Experience in educational leadership roles
  • Experience in school improvement initiatives and strategic planning
